The Boulder School of Fine Art
Raz Seri, director and lead instructor of the Boulder School of Fine Art, teaches the methods of classical drawing and painting to students wishing to refine and develop their own artistic skills.
His unique approach combines the skills and techniques of the old masters with a modern approach and sensitivity. Students are coached individually in the observation and depiction of light and shadow as they define the human form in natural north light.
Students enroll in classes and workshops throughout the year and are guided through a series of projects that are based on the art education practiced in European ateliers and art schools. Students work from life and draw and paint the figure and portrait over multiple sessions, giving time to study and portray their subjects with accuracy and finesse.
